Quick Update

It's clearly been a while since I have last blogged! My evenings are spent loving on my sweet baby and not in front of the computer.
I have been trying to train for a race in October, with the horrible heat it has proved difficult! Lena LOVES going out for a run in the mornings. She especially loves getting to see all the puppies (her favorite word to say).

She is quite the little mover now and is constantly running all over the house. She runs to greet Kyle and I when we get home from work..shouting "HI. HI. HI!!" the whole time. Her vocabulary is expanding as well, she now says Mommy, Daddy, Puppy, Hot, Shoe, Hi, whosat? and lots and lots of other babbles! She loves to cover us in kisses, which is just the sweetest thing in the world.
She FINALLY hit 20 lbs and we were able to put her "big kid" car seat in the car. She loves being able to see out the window better and I think she is less hot sitting up in this seat.
Not much else has changed, she is still happy, lovey and active as ever. She loves to get shoulder rides and eat strawberries for breakfast...YUM YUM is what she says over and over as she eats them.

Her hair is getting so long and we have been able to put it up into a little pony tail. It makes her look sooo grown up! She is not my "baby" any more!
Who knows when I will blog again...the weather is getting much nicer and I am sure we will spend alot of our free time outside!

Worst Blogger EVER!!!!

I might officially be the worst blogger in the universe!While I have all these great ideas of things to blog about, I never seem to actually sit down and do them! We have been a very busy household with the VERY active toddler who rules the roost. She never stops for a second and will climb onto/into ANYTHING. Her latest venture has been climbing into drawers (after she takes everything out of them).

It has been hotter then blazes here and we haven't gotten out quite like we like to do, but we did make a trip to the splash pad with "Aunt" Stacie and Connor last weekend. Lena is definately her momma's baby and HATES water in her face. She moved quickly throughout the park and was not afraid of all the other people. We followed with a quick lunch with Daddy and then we all went to Safari Kids playground. There were these GIANT mechanical animals to ride..she LOVED the Elephant ride. She played in the ball pit until I smelled stale POOP and quickly removed her. The germaphob in me quickly took over and she hated me for a split second. She will thank me for that later in life!

We have another busy weekend of baby chasing on tap...Kyle is off work so we I will enjoy have someone else to chase the stinker.

In the mean time...I am going to build build build my Mary Kay business so I can stay home with her more! I CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!

I have a very talented friend who is starting her photog business back up. She therefore needed a subject other than her own kiddos and asked if she could take some photos of Lena. What mother wouldn't want more amazing photos of her sweet baby? um, YES PLEASE! The photos became the focal point of her Birthday invite!

We headed out to a local park and let Jennifer and Lena go to work.

Love, Laughter and a little...

So I have this new phone that I am still learning. Since sweet little Lena is sleeping early and hubby is playing some Hockey, I decided to playd on the phone and stalk some blogs, which by the way is my new favorite time waster. So before I get the cricut out for some crafting( thanks Erika for lending me said cricut) I did the voice function to search my own blog. So I say love laughter and a little Lena. Only up pops...love laughter and a little WEINER!!! Um..yikes. I have no desire to search for little weiners. So..needless to say I wont be voice searching for my blog.

Lena learned a new trick...crawling up on the couch. I am not sure I am ready for all of this movement. I will admit she had incentive...her daddy's ice cream. She loves her ice cream. Living proof she is our child!

Daddy also bought her the cutest Dallas stars jersey. Its a 3t but still looks so cute on her. I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how to get it off my not so smart phone.
ok...I am off to cricut and stalk blogs. I just hope no little wieners pop up...

Here goes nothing....

Well, I did it, I took the plunge into the blogging world. I have no idea what to blog about other than my super happy, cute love bug Lena! For and foremost, I apologize for the grammar, spelling and overall errors.

I will also apologize up front for my bluntness. At times, I am wildly inappropriate and make no apologies for this. Much to my mother's dismay, I curse like a sailor, say what is on my mind and rarely sensor my opinions.

So, if you happen to make the blog, I am not being hurtful or trying to embarrass anyone....I just need something to talk about. Those that know me best....know I am a TALKER, like literally can not shut up sometimes, and sadly I don't even care for the sound of my own voice, I just can't help it.

So for the introductions....

Our house is made up of 2 adults and 1 perfect soon to be toddler.

Kyle....My husband that tries to do nothing but please me, he works hard and takes great care of his family. Now..if only he didn't have to be reminded to take out the trash ;)

Lena...My beautiful happy soon to be 1 year old! She has 14 days until she turns the big ONE. She is walking at time thinks she is a Flinstone with her yabba dabba doo gibbers in the wee hours of the morning.

Then there is Me...Laura.  I work full time and most the time love my job. Most of all...I love my family. I love being a Mommy and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
